Game & Table Policies
- $1 (One Dollar) bills do not play on the table.
- Racks are not allowed on the table while in play.
- Players are expected to act in a manner to keep in pace with the table action. If a player needs time to act, the player will call "time" in order to determine the proper action. If the player is taking excessive time, the Floor Person will be called and give the player a countdown of time in which to act. If the payer has not acted by the end of the countdown, the hand will be called dead.
- Players are to declare "all-in" when they are in a hand and have run out of chips/money. The dealer for any additional betting will form a side pot.
- A cutting card is used to conceal the bottom of the deck.
- Blind bets will be used, not antes (unless specified by that game).
- String bets/raises: Players must place their entire bet in front of them in one motion unless the player has clearly announced a verbal declaration of intent. If there has been no verbal declaration, a player may not place additional chips for a raise or increase the size of the bet.
- Short raises are not permitted. A player must raise at least the amount of the initial bet or previous raise. (The exception is an "all-in" bet.)
- Unlimited raises are allowed only when two live players are remaining at the start of the betting round.
- All cards will be turned face up once a player is all-in and all action is completed.
- At showdown, only active players who have called all bets and raises may ask to see another player's hand who has called all bets and raises.
- We use a show one show all policy.
- A player who exposes hole cards to any other active player while action is occurring may have the hand declared dead (especially if other active players are in the hand).
- Players miscalling their hand at showdown risk forfeiture of their hand.
- If a dealer kills an unprotected hand, the player will have no redress and will not be entitled to his money back. An exception would be if a player raised and his raise had not been called yet, he would be entitled to receive his raise back.
- Dealers cannot kill a winning hand that was turned face up and was obviously the winning hand.
- Verbal declarations in turn are binding. Acting out of turn may not be binding.
- Seat change requests are made to the dealer.
- Table change requests are made to the Floor Person and must be approved prior to moving to another table.
- Exposed first or second card off the deck constitutes a misdeal and all cards will come back.
